Silk was born Fredericton at New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was a well-known actor, director and producer and also a professor the course at St. Thomas University. Her parents were Peter who was a renowned academic. Anna recalls her mother's work in the theatre and going to rehearsals. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials when she was a kid. She received a Bachelor's of Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions, Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto for further development of her acting career in the month of November 1999. She then, over the following decade relocated to Los Angeles, California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an Actorsworkshop at Los Angeles. The couple got engaged in 2009, and they were married in a civil wedding ceremony that was held in December. After she had converted to Judaism, they renewed their wedding vows during a Jewish ceremony on April 10th 2011.
