Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the United States for the past 40 years. Most famously, she is known for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). In the 1950s she began her professional career as an actor on stage for Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions, before becoming famous in the national stage scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. In 1957, she also released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise made her debut in Hollywood in God's Little Acre, a film released in 1958. She played Griselda, a character in the movie. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The next notable role she portrayed was Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her for in 1964. Louise Balfour was able to juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting as a sombre character contrast to her image of an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she also has made an impact as a successful director in several well-known television series like Supernatural or The 100. She was birthed in Essex August 28th on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice to play the lead.
