Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is the author of a number of well-known American cooking books. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network. It began in 2002. Ina began her writing career by writing nuclear energy policies and budgets to the White House. Although she found her job interesting initially, she eventually lost her interest in it and bought a tiny speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. She spent eighteen years making the store extremely successful before letting it go and picking up the pen to write her first cookbook. Other cookbooks followed, as did magazine columns. Another success came from the Food Network Television show. The range of products includes cooking equipment, to food items and storage containers. Ina did not go to a cooking academy and has never worked in restaurants. She's completely self-taught. Ina is known for her relaxed way of creating and entertaining. The most well-known recipes include Skillet and Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Mac and Beef Bourguignon. cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
