Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her work. She advocates animal rights. Ali MacGraw is well-known for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she was brought up in an artistic environment. Her first position was a photo assistant. Then she moved on to modeling and acting. MacGraw was noticed in her first two movies and received Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. MacGraw's movie Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world notoriety, along with several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe award. In just three films, MacGraw was declared the most successful female in box office history. At Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she got her name and footprints hand-engraved. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Moving Pictures is her autobiography released in 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
